Neko Industrial Park....Fantasy Faire's version of Kitty Heaven

Let me take you for a walk through Neko Industrial Park at this years Fantasy Faire. Photos are completely unedited so you can see the sim in all it's neko glory.

Lets start at the sim border and have a peek shall we.

First stop - Boof. This store makes me want to nom on skittles.

Trouble Maker Designs had me wanting to join the giant cheshire cat circling the fish bowl on their roof.

Time for a quick pit stop outside Kiki No.18

Ariana's Designs giant twitching whiskers had me mesmerized.

I really wanted to rumble in the grass at De La Fae, but I was a good kitty.

ooo shiny.....wait....Aluinn tried to lure me away with her pretties.

The ladder outside Psychotic Neko seems to have caught a weary traveller.

After all the sightseeing through the stores I decided to head on back to the central sim to look around and spotted this cozy little bed so decided to curl up and have a nap instead.

Sometimes a blog post is best said with as little words as possible. So for this post I leave you with the picture above which will be displayed at my store for the duration of this years Fantasy Faire.

Wear Pink - Take a stand against bullying

Bullying happens when someone scares or hurts another person on purpose, physically, mentally, or emotionally. Usually, this happens on a repeat basis - the victim being attacked over and over, an unable - or afraid - to defend themselves.

Bullying can include physical violence, spreading bad rumors, purposefully excluding another person from a group or activity, teasing in a mean or inappropriate way, or even gathering others to "gang up" on others.

Cyberbullying happens electronically. This can include some of the categories of normal bullying, but can also include posting nasty rumors, pictures, or messages about others on blogs, forums, or other websites, or using another's name to pose as them and spread rumors about them via the internet.

YOU can make a difference! If you see someone being bullied and do nothing about it, you are just as guilty as the bully themselves. Turning a blind eye to any kind of abuse is only enabling the abusers to continue harming others. Speak up! Stand up! The more people are willing to stand up for what they believe in, the less power the bullies will have to abuse and control others.

So, please, take a a stand against bullying, in your First and Second Life. Bullying is not something only felt by school-aged children, but by millions of people worldwide - of all ages, genders, races...it knows no limits.

Stand up for yourself, your family, friends, workmates and acquaintances. Bullying is not acceptable. It leaves many people emotional wrecks, depressed and in sever circumstances - injuries.

Speaking as a person who has been on the receiving end of bullying on more than one occasion, I urge you "Take a stand against bullying". Show your support by wearing pink on April 14th.

This pose is being released at the first ever Fae & Elven Pride Faire which opens April 2nd and runs through till April 11th. The Gift is a magical pose for two with a glowing orb that floats delicately in the hands as you offer it to another (suitable for guys and girls).
